Description
Cut in cotton twill, the Bind Top carries no machine stitch in its construction. Each square is individually embroidered with blue pottery botanical motifs in dark thread, then joined entirely by hand using a jali technique, where the joining of each edge becomes part of the visible structure and the grid itself holds the garment together. Ties attached by hand at the sides fall freely, and the top slips on without any closure, worn as a pull on.
